Ordered to beef up home security after recent break in. Very pleased with the sturdiness of the bar and fittings and also with their finish. All parts are finished in a smooth gloss white and whilst nobody really wants to have to use such bars in their home it looks quite smart now it is fitted. considering ordering a spare bracket with a view of mounting one horizontally on a wall near the door the bar is used on so that one end of the bar can be slid in to store the bar securely on the wall when not in place across the door.
